GREETINGS FAMILY!
I’m so excited to announce that plans have begun for the 2022 Meeks Family Reunion!
First, let me introduce myself, my name is Jacquelyn “Jackie” Meeks Pace , I am the oldest daughter of Willie Meeks Sr. & Mary Meeks Walker. I am the 2022 Reunion Coordinator.
This reunion is a time for all of us to come together and keep our family tradition going. Although God has called so many of our family members home, they have left us with beautiful memories. This reunion is a time for all of us to come together and embrace our family memories and keep their legacy alive. Legacy is built day by day through the interaction and experience we have with each other. Let’s make this reunion a success.
This year you are invited to experience a little bit of Georgia’s southern hospitality!
Reunion events will begin Thursday evening, June 23, 2022, and go through Sunday morning, June 26, 2022. This year we will be hosting our event at the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort in Stone Mountain, GA. The Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort and Stone Mountain Park are the perfect fit for a fun-filled, memorable Family Reunion.
The hotel offers newly renovated guest rooms with private balconies offering nature, pool, or lake views. Take your pick of multiple dining options, enjoy the hotel’s heated indoor or outdoor pool, work out in their 24/7 gym, or practice your swing on our 36-hole golf course.
Attached you will find a form for each family group to return.
The deadline to have registration forms returned is Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
This information will be used to confirm lodging reservations, activities, food quantities for catering, and order the family reunion t-shirts. We want to ensure that everyone has a great time. If you have any suggestions of how to make this reunion even better, please give me a call or email me. We want to hear your ideas! Please feel free to duplicate copies of this letter or send addresses of other family members that we may have overlooked.
